For me, words are a bridge between one person and another. When there is a gap in the bridge, it means our words don't meet. I collect healing words in readiness, because these are the kind that will breach that gap.

The purpose of words is to give expression to thoughts and feelings in order to convey them to others. The challenge of words is finding the right ones so that the message the other person receives is the same one we sent.

One purpose of words is to feed the human ego - to create unity and at the same time to create divisions among mankind. There are many other purposes: to express one's observations, needs, wants, emotions, etc.
