When Jill complained about how Randy spoke to her, he said,
- You’re too sensitive.
This phrase is one that insensitive people often use to disarm those they disrespect.

As a guy I can’t remember having this phrased used on me, but my observation of it’s use is that the more insensitive the original comment, or action, the more likely we are to hear this.
