February 21, 2007Basketball Video

Did you notice anything odd about the video? If not, watch it again. There’s something very unusual that people don’t see when they are focused on the white shirted players.

  5. There was no basket and there were two basketballs, plus the gorilla that walked in the middle of everything to beat on its chest.

  10. After watching it again, I forgot how many passes but saw the gorilla for the firt time. Berry cute exercise (-:. I will look for gorillas in my family and at work. This is how some wizards and magician work. I had a buddy who had a mistress and when his wife found out, he started a witch-hunt club to help him to accuse people of betraying him. In the meantime, everyone was so distracted looked for the snitch and forgot who was the doing the betraying in the first place and requiring everyone else to collude. I did not snitch. (-:

  11. The first time I watched it, I counted 15 passes and saw one S on the wall. I had no idea until the second viewing that there was a guy in a gorilla suit (and a second S)! Very interesting.

  12. 14 passes. A gorrilla. A black shirt and white shirt passed a ball to each other.

  13. I counted 15 passes and noticed the gorilla too in the first run. I was not fooled. I am too sexy for this video…hehehe!

  14. I totally focused on the passing as instructed and counted 19 passes and saw the S on the wall. Second time I saw the white shirts passing just within themselves and never saw a gorilla. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

  15. I missed the gorilla the first time too.

Jerry, that’s a fascinating mis-direction story. I think that’s a technique that’s too often used in public life as well.

  16. I counted 14 passes between the white shirts. I saw the S’s on the walls, but I never saw the gorilla. I read about it, went back and viewed the video again and saw it that time.
