Nega-bugs in my head require heavy duty screening devices so I can trap them before they run rampant and affect my entire being. Nega-bugs, however have been known to poke holes in my screening device and infect the whole system if I am not careful. My main technique for trapping the nega-bugs is to notice how I'm feeling. If it's a feeling I don't want to have I can usually trace it back to a thought (nega-bug) that slipped past the screening device. With that I can generally shift it by choosing thoughts that will shift that energy. It often takes some doing, but using powerphrases as positive self talk has been profoundly useful. Another of my techniques is to call someone I know who tends to keep their vibration high on a pretty consistent basis, then without telling them that is why I am calling, I can usually quickly entrain with their higher energy frequency and voila, the nega-bugs miraculously disappear because they cannot survive in the presence of all that Light.

Love the "nega-bugs," that are "no-see-ums." In my experience, as a writer and a teacher, I believe strongly that "words" pervade and affect our body chemistry and flood our brain with images. The images then become our "reality." When working with difficult folks or settings, I love the phrase I learned a long time ago: "In what ways can WE (fix, solve, approach the problem.) That "WE" puts us in the same camp, if not exactly cozied up to each other.

In some cultures, explicit language for "don't," "can't," or "won't" do not exist. Smart, huh. As a kindergarten teacher, I quickly learned that "don't do that," as in "don't walk on the grass," flew over the kids' heads. The message didn't stick, or it was defied. However, "Do walk on the sidewalk," worked. The kids heard the action of "walk" connected to the sidewalk.

Cheers,
