		<description>As a past recipient of the phrase "This is perfect," I completely agree with you, Meryl, on how affirming it is to hear that statment.  I have a terrific boss who is never threatened by excellence in his teammates, and his positive comments like this one really increase my desire to perform well for our organization.  Knowing he is not prone to "smoke obscuring the steak talk," I am encouraged to affirm others in the same way, which goes a long way toward making the office a great place to be.</description>

		<description>Sizzle, not smoke.  I attended an interesting presentation on the importance of employee retention and how to do it this week.  It was interesting to me how many of the major technique boiled down to "tell them the truth".  A huge amount of our daily personal, business and political problems stem from having pushed "sizzle" so far that it is, simply put, lying.
