September 2, 2007PowerPhrase – Action needed – Reply needed

Filed under: The PowerPhrase of the Week by merylrunion |

Do you like our new blog design? Shonnie Lavender has been helping me upgrade my blog.

There were a few times when she needed a quick response to an email in order to continue her work.

She used an email subject line that said -

  • Action needed…

and another that said -

  • Reply needed.

Inform people when you are sending requests you need them to act on.

  • FYI

in a subject line lets people know you are not waiting for an action from them.

BTW, one of my most popular articles is How to Write Strong Email Subject Lines. Read it here.

  2. Using “Reply Needed” and “Action Needed” is a quick and easy communication change that I’ve started using. Thanks!
