In the movie Pirates of the Caribbean, Commodore Norinton notes to Captain Jack Sparrow: “You are by far the worst pirate I have ever heard of.”
Undaunted, Captain Jack Sparrow replied:
- Ah, but you have heard of me
That’s called building on your strengths.
By the way, I need examples of people - perhaps you - who initially weren’t taken seriously, but eventually managed to convince people to take them seriously. If you have examples, please post here. Thanks.
