Jennifer called to Craig from the next room – and Craig responded with gibberish. Jennifer told Craig,
- I don’t like it when you respond with gibberish. It sounds like you’re mocking me.
- I am mocking you. I don’t like it when you talk to me from another room.
If Craig wants Jennifer to stop talking to him from another room, he can request that she stop. Instead, he raised an issue with her to avoid her raising an issue with him. It’s a game I call “yeah but you.” Learn more about it here.
