March 10, 2008This Week in the World ~ Pippi Power

Filed under: This Week in the World by merylrunion |

Here’s a formula for you. Pippi Power = IQ + EQ + SA. That’s Pippi Power = intelligence quotient + emotional quotient + strategic action. Or, Pippi Power + thinking + feeling + action. I talk about that a lot in my eBook Unite and Concur.

Many of us favor one power center over the other. Some of us live in our heads. Others react emotionally. Some of us act without thinking or consulting emotions.

Last week I presented in a more emotional way to a technical group. It was the third time I had presented to this group, and the previous two times went very well. This presentation went well too, but I did lose a few people.

I wrote a poem about the experience, and I include it in an article about how to frame topics so everyone can relate to them. You’ll find that here.
