A reader sent this one in to me. Someone asked for a ride to a conference, and when they settled on 9:00 as the departure time, she said,
- Fantastic. My car will be leaving the driveway at 9:00.
The comment sounds simple and straightforward. What makes it brilliant is that it creates a visual. That concreteness imprints the image of the car leaving at that exact time. Imprinting a solid picture of what we want to happen increases the likelihood that it will manifold.
